Microsoft has released Windows 8.1
This update aims to answer some of the criticism leveled at the original version of Windows 8 earlier .
In particular , this update returns the start button and allow the computer to boot with the traditional desktop interface .
Launch Window 8.1 comes at a critical time for Microsoft because of a decline in sales of Windows 8 gadgets that architecture .
